Let's figure out if we're a fit.
Every coaching relationship starts with a 30-minute call. Free, no pressure, no pitch.
We talk through what's hard, what you've tried, and whether coaching with me is the right next step. If it isn't, I'll tell you — and point you toward what might be.

Here's what actually happens on the call.
You book a time
Pick a slot on the calendar. You'll get a confirmation email with the video link and a short intake form (5 minutes, low-stakes).
We talk for 30 minutes
You tell me what's hard. I ask questions. We figure out together whether coaching with me makes sense for what you're trying to change.
You decide
If we're a fit, I send next steps and we book the first session. If we're not, I point you toward what might serve you better. Zero pressure either way.
Before you book, two thoughts worth considering.
Good fit if you
- Have ADHD or executive function challenges (diagnosed or not)
- Are capable but stuck
- Want weekly accountability and real systems
- Are ready to do the work between sessions
- Want a coach who tells you the truth, not just what you want to hear
Probably not a fit if you
- Are in active mental health crisis (therapy is the right call)
- Need only academic tutoring on specific content
- Want someone to do the work for you
- Are being forced into coaching by someone else
- Need symptom management or medication guidance
It's a real conversation, not a sales call.
If coaching isn't right for you, I'll say so on the call. I'd rather point you toward better-fitting support than take on a client who shouldn't be working with me.
You don't need to have it figured out beforehand.
You don't need a list of goals or a clean explanation of what's wrong. "I'm just kind of a mess and I don't know where to start" is a totally legitimate place to begin.
Parents — you can reach out for your student.
If your student is over 18, I'll want to talk to them too before we begin coaching, but you're welcome to start the conversation.
The things people want to know before they book.
What's the difference between coaching and therapy?
Therapy looks at the past, processes emotions, and treats mental health. It's real and important. Coaching is forward-looking and behavioral — we work on the how of getting things done, week by week.
Many of my clients work with both a therapist and me. They do different jobs. If what you need is therapy, I'll tell you on the call.
How long does coaching usually last?
Most clients start with a three-month commitment because real behavior change takes time and consistency. From there, some wrap up; others stay on for longer-term support around bigger life transitions (school, career pivots, parenthood, new diagnoses).
You're not locked in beyond the initial commitment. We check in regularly about what you're getting out of it.
What does coaching cost?
Coaching is a significant investment — both in money and in your time and energy. Specific pricing depends on the structure that fits your situation (frequency, between-session support, group versus 1:1).
We talk through all of it on the consultation call. No surprise numbers, no high-pressure pitch. If the investment isn't right for you right now, I'll say so.
Can't I just use ChatGPT or an AI tool for this?
You can absolutely use AI tools to brainstorm a task list, generate a study plan, or draft an email you've been avoiding. I'm not anti-AI — I use it myself.
The catch: AI gives you a great plan. It doesn't notice when you've avoided opening the plan for three days. It doesn't text you on Tuesday morning when it knows that's your hard one. It doesn't remember that you have the same exact problem every November and help you prep for it in October.
Coaching isn't about access to better strategies. It's about accountability, pattern-noticing, and a human who's in your corner specifically.
I'm a parent. My kid is resistant. What do I do?
Bring them to the consultation anyway. It's 30 minutes, it's free, and it's the lowest-stakes way for them to figure out if this might actually help.
What I won't do: try to convince a teenager who doesn't want this. Coaching works because the student wants it. If they leave the consult and say no, that's the answer — and we've learned something useful.
What if I miss a session?
Life happens. We reschedule when we can. There's a cancellation policy we'll go over before we start, but it's designed to be reasonable — not punitive.
Do you take insurance?
No. Coaching isn't a medical or mental health service, so it's not insurance-billable. If insurance coverage is a deal-breaker, what you're actually looking for is a therapist or psychologist — and I'm happy to point you toward good ones in your area on the consult call.
Where are you based? Do you only work with people in Tallahassee?
I'm in Tallahassee, but most coaching is online — I work with clients across the country and I am accustomed to working with people in other time zones. If you're local, we can also meet in person or do hybrid (some online, some in-person). Whichever serves you better.
Are you a therapist, tutor, or psychologist looking to refer a client?
Let's chat. Clients do their best work when their support system is coordinated, and I genuinely want to know who's already in their corner. I'm open to collaboration, curious about your practice, and easy to refer to. If we haven't connected yet — let's fix that. Use the link below to book a referral partner call.
Book the call. That’s it. That's the whole next step.
Thirty minutes. Free. Pajamas fine. No pressure to sign up afterwards.
